EODC specializes in the development, prototyping, production and service of survivability solutions for armoured vehicles designed and manufactured to address each client’s unique survivability requirements.

EODC is proudly manufacturing the state-of-the-art composite armour protection suite developed and qualified by IBD Deisenroth Engineering for Textron’s Tactical Armoured Patrol Vehicle (TAPV) being delivered to the Canadian Army.  EODC is further growing its survivability engineering and prototyping capabilities to help other vehicle OEMs win new programs always with the end-user and operational imperatives in mind.

EODC provides innovative solutions using reliable Modular Expandable Armour System (Mexas™), Advanced Modular Armour Protection System (AMAP™), and next-generation IBD PROTech™, NanoTech™ and FLEXIComp™ composite materials that provide lighter weight survivability options, 3-D shaped applications and outstanding system performance.

Since 1994, over 47,000 vehicles in service worldwide in 25 countries have been equipped with high-tech survivability solutions and products from IBD. EODC equipped more than 300 of the Canadian Forces’ Light Armoured Vehicles (LAV) that were deployed on operations in Afghanistan, and several thousand additional vehicles in that theatre were also protected by IBD products.
